Co-organized by Hong Kong Cyberport and Central Research, with the collaboration of BOUNDLESS HACKATHON, Nautilus Chain, Rootz Labs, Techub News, CryptoPhd, IOST, and supported by institutions such as InvestHK, Hashkey Capital, OKLINK, AlienSwap, OKX WEB3, Wanxiang Blockchain Lab, Stratified Capital, MT Capital, ThreeDAO, WikiEXPO, ASPECTA, and media support from Hong Kong Now TV, Techub News, TechFlow, Chain Catcher, Meta Era, Jinse Finance, Marsbit, Finmeta, Cointime, R3PO, bixiaobai, Gyro Finance, Daling Research, Shilian Finance,DeFam, ToeknDance, Square DAO, DaoDaoMedia, WikiBit, Blocklike,etc, the 8th Big Demo Day took place on October 26th at Hong Kong Cyberport.

Global Web3 builders, VC representatives, and KOLs gathered to share insights and discuss trends and developments in modular blockchain technology. The event provided a platform for in-depth discussions on the direction of the Web3 industry and project development, fostering opportunities for meaningful collaborations.
Since its inception on March 4th, Big Demo Day has seen over 180 project teams present their roadshows. Numerous Web3 enterprises have leveraged the event for financing, collaboration, and other business activities, contributing to the growth of the Web3 industry in Hong Kong.
The event commenced with opening remarks from Dylan, Co-founder of Central Research, and Rachel Lee from Cyberport, who served as the guests of honor.
Ms. Dylan Lee stated, "Central Research is a local Web3 fund based in Hong Kong, focusing on investment research, incubation, and Big Demo Day. Our team comprises seasoned professionals in the Web3 industry, offering comprehensive post-investment services to the projects we invest in."
During the roundtable discussions, industry experts such as Sandy J from DeepCoin, Norah S from ZeeprLabs, Alan Li from Greater Bay Area Assets, Kris Li from ChainUp, Derrick Lui from DWF Labs, and Ian Yeong from Animoca explored the future development direction of modular blockchain technology in both single-chain and multi-chain environments. The in-depth technical analyses provided a deeper understanding of the development of modular blockchain technology, enhancing industry participants' technical knowledge. Guests including Wesley from Rootz Labs, Professor Xu Hongbo from Innochain & Wanwu Island, Carter Lam from IOST, Rose from Kernel Ventures, and Terrence Yip from Google Cloud shared insights into the integration of RWA and modular blockchain, deepening understanding of the hottest topic – the combination of RWA and Web3.

A total of 14 projects were successfully selected for the event, showcasing their creativity and potential during the exciting presentations, gaining favor from the live audience and investment institutions. The list of selected projects includes Hotpot, Savior, Xwinner, Sleek, Tx, All Weather, Coral Finance, DBOE, PARSIQ, Hookfi, Parallels, Fxtranche, ProsperEX, and dot.GAMING.
